Issues with gaposis?

Not sure what it's doing this but there's a tiny gap between the top dark pink and the light pink below.

Not sure how many noticed, but I've been "gone" for quite some time....

I was diligently working on putting together my Daisy Alphabet.....then my lovely, rambunctious labrador thought it would be a great idea to break Mommy's arm and nose....then life got in the way and I just well...forgot...

But I'm back now and I'm tinkering with the idea of purchasing a new piece of software for digitizing.  It's costs a chunk of change, though.  It's called Generations+ ™.  It looks to more robust and much easier than my current program, so hopefully I will be able to churn some new stuff out soon.  I'm going to purchase the $50 30-day trial version in an effort to convince BGS that this program will make it a LOT easier for me.  Wish me luck!

Daisy Alphabet - Let's Start at the Beginning

After a good number of distractions I started working on the daisy alphabet again.  What better place to start an alphabet than at the beginning, right?  Below is the artwork for the A,  the Embird stitchout, and a photo of the final product.

I plan on selling the designs on Etsy or here on the blog if I can figure out how.  If there is a specific letter you would like to see sooner than later, please email me and I will work on that letter next.  Happy Stitching!

I originally designed the alphabet with the daisy head going out to the left, but a couple people have mentioned that it would look better going to the right....here are your options...you decide and let me know which one you like best

Ideas for a Wedding Gift

A friend is getting married soon so I thought I would design and embroider her new monogram onto some tea towels and some napkins - you know to put in bread baskets and what not....since I haven't done this before I had NO idea how to hoop a napkin (or anything else for that matter) so that the object of interest would be on the corner. I searched the internet and what did I find? A nice post Quilted with Love: Machine Embroidered Napkins: 'via Blog this' with exactly the information I need. From another blogspot member no less!! Now I just need to get some napkins :)

I will, of course, post the finished result when I complete it....

I want to tweak a few things and then I will list the item.

Progress was held up by my helping mom after her eye surgery - everything is fine...and then I injured my back....that is still recovering.  I will post the final effort when I am able.  Thanks for being patient.
